A woman has been charged with murder after another woman was crushed to death when she was pushed in front of a moving subway train in New York.
Melanie Liverpool-Turner, 30, was seen arguing with Connie Watton, 49, at the stop under Times Square.
The pair did not know one another, according to police, and Ms Watton died at the scene.
Liverpool-Turner of Queens, was arrested within minutes and taken into police custody. Witnesses described how she looked 'proud' as she was led away by police officers.
According to the New York Post, Liverpool-Turner told authorities that she did the same thing at Union Square station last month.
However, officers do not believe her account as a German student who died there around that time is thought to have taken her own life.
Witnesses said they saw that 19-year-old jump.
Liverpool-Turner's boyfriend, Olief Wilson, said that she was on her way to go shopping in Brooklyn when the incident happened.
Authorities have described the suspect as emotionally disturbed.
Police were looking at video surveillance to determine what led to the attack, Manhattan Chief of Detectives William Aubry said.
